Letterpress
The invention of Mr. Gensfleisch
Crowned as the most important invention of the second millennium: the art of letterpress. Well, what this exactly mean and how does this technique differ from planographic?
Procedure
Gutenberg invented the movable type. These are rolled with ink and printed on the paper. The ink-accepting areas are raised - so here’s the difference to planographics. Of course, modern times have found their way into letterpress. Plates made out of a photopolymer serve as clichés to be produced from digital layouts.
Use
Fine typography, single or multi-colored logos, classic or modern, business cards or note paper - the printing press knows no limits, it was for decades the commercial printing process in general.
Do’s & Dont’s
If we succeed in making your vis-à-vis so envious of your business card as Patrick Bateman in «American Psycho», then everything is fine. We make every effort to accomplish this task.
